Southern Harmony Quartet

In
the month of May in 2004 five men with a desire to share the love of
Jesus Christ in song joined together and formed a quartet.
They shared a love of traditional, Southern Gospel music and four
part harmony. The group was named Southern Harmony Quartet.
The Quartet was a blessing to many as they endeavored to lift high
the name of Jesus and His saving power. They traveled across
Western Tennessee boldly sharing the Gospel in song. The Quartet was
formed and based in Darden, Tennessee.
As time has gone by the group has
seen several changes but one thing has remained and that is the love
for continuing to spread God's word in song with that great
Southern Gospel sound. |

Mark
Hayes, the bass singer, is from Parsons, TN. For many years Mark
was a lost church member, but on April 30, 2000 during a tent
revival he gave his life to Jesus Christ. Singing bass in a
Southern Gospel quartet fulfills a dream that Mark has had since he
was a child. Mark's desire is to praise God through song. Mark
firmly believes in what Jesus said in Luke 19:40, "If these should
hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." Mark and
his wife, Beverly, live in Darden, TN. He enjoys farming and

Morris Rogers
Southern Harmony Quartet's lead singer is a man who has many great
loves in his life, but his love for "Southern Gospel Music" is one
of his greatest. Having started his singing career at the tender age
of three, he's continued to sing and grows more thankful each day
for the opportunity that God has given him to share the wonderful
"Love of God" in song. One of the greatest days of his life was
April 14, 1971 when he accepted Jesus Christ into his heart and life
as his personal savior. Morris has been married for 25 years to his
lovely wife Penny and they have been blessed with two beautiful
daughters, Tara and Brenna.
